What is a mentoring session?

Mentoring sessions are personalized one-on-one sessions with me, where we will discuss anything that you need to get your career on track, get you ready for a big job, or give you the building blocks you need to take your career to the next level.

What do we cover in a mentoring session?

That is totally up to you. Mentoring sessions can include portfolio reviews, career guidance, information about how to break into the industry, where to start if you want to become a MUA, how to transition to full time work, an hour of Q&A about the industry.... the list goes on! This is your hour to get all of the information you need to get you on the right track.

Where do these sessions happen?

Each session is conducted on Skype.

What is the cost?

Each hour long session will be $125 CAD plus applicable taxes for Canadian residents.

How do I book a mentoring session?

When times/dates become available you will be able to book your session on a first come, first served basis through this page.

If you are an artist and are serious about your career, you should really make a point to get a session down with Angie. It was the best decision I’ve made in a long time! She saved me years of trial and error and my career path has never looked so clear. Our session felt very personalized and Angie gave me that boost of confidence I needed. I felt like I was stuck, but the constructive feedback and a realistic roadmap she gave me made me feel inspired and determined, the way I felt when I first became a makeup artist. Speaking to Angie was like speaking to a good friend. She was honest and down to earth, but more importantly, was very sincere and non judgemental. I can’t wait for our next session!

My mentorship session with Angie Di Battista was so incredibly helpful because not only did she help me set goals, she helped me create a detailed plan to achieve them. I am so grateful for the knowledge and industry advice she has shared with me. I highly recommend mentorship with Angie Di Battista for any makeup artist.

My mentorship session with Angie was invaluable. When I made the decision to pursue my passion for makeup artistry back in September 2017, I had a list of goals (e.g. become certified, set up business, etc.). Upon accomplishing those goals, I was frustrated to find myself feeling stuck and anxious. I wanted to have a raw conversation with a seasoned pro who could impart their wisdom because if I’m not being proactive or productive, my soul dies a little (haha!). Angie’s feedback and suggestions gave me clear direction and realistic goals. It was a huge weight off my shoulders because she advised me based on my specific situation, skill set, and the demands of the market - speaking with her completely re-energized me. Angie has very a warm and friendly personality, and her genuine desire to help other artists and see them succeed shines through. I’m looking forward to future sessions with her and hope that one day, I can pay it forward.
